This original artwork is inspired by Cobalt blue Alkanet,chalk, white dead nettle and bees inspired by the ‘weeds’ in my garden, a valuable source of nectar for pollinating insects.

The bees in this piece are highlighted with a touch of gold leaf symbolising just how precious our pollinators are.

Created onto high quality watercolour paper using Somerset willow charcoal, locally found natural pigments and mud along with some other more conventional paints.
