News Flash - Country File - 21st July
You may have seen me on Country File. I had a great day sharing my story with the Country file team to contribute to this programme all about the Chew Valley. You can catch it on BBC iplayer if you haven’t seen it yet. Hope you enjoy having a look round and get in touch if you can’t find what you are looking for. xx
Vibrant, organic produce gathered at the Yeo Valley Organic Garden as inspiration for the artwork I created for Country File.

WORKING FROM HOME 2021 - ‘MAGIC BEANS’
In 2021 I created a created a mural at home which is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I love vegetable inspired fairytales such as ‘Jack and the Bean Stalk’, The Enormous Turnip and Cinderella. Creating a magic beanstalk up the stairway seemed like the right thing to do. I also reproduced one of my originals as a roller blind making an interesting feature for our kitchen.
If you would like to discuss the possibilities of a vegetable inspired mural in your home get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.
2024 PRECIOUS POLLINATORS & THE FOREST GARDEN…….
Now, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited about this mural project I completed back in March 2024. I was the commissioned artist for the new Macmillan Wellbeing Hub at the Dyson Cancer Centre which opened in May 2024. I spent the preceding year working alongside Art at the Heart RUH Bath on this project, consulting with patients and hospital staff and running drawing workshops to introduce my work. As a result of this I developed a series of designs that inspired the murals I created throughout the Macmillan well being hub. I am completely honoured to have been asked to create my work in this important space where the architectural and interior design has been carefully considered to enable patients and staff to maintain a strong connection with nature, vital for the body and mind no matter what… I could not be more delighted with the outcome and the feedback I have received.
Many of my designs have been inspired by the beautiful Yeo Valley Organic Garden where putting nature first is at the very heart and is a huge inspiration for my work.
