Macmillan Well being Hub - Dyson Cancer Centre - RUH Bath

Back in April I completed a large-scale mural project for the macmillan well being centre in the newly built Dyson Cancer Centre Bath. This was the most incredible experience and has enabled me to realise the purpose of my work and its importance in connecting people to nature. Working on this project has made me realise just how precious life is and that the purpose of this hospital is against all odds to preserve life. This specially designed building, all of the people who work here and the investment in life affirming art connected to nature is a true testament to this. I could not be more delighted to have been part of such an amazing project. Yeo Valley Organic Garden has been a major source of inspiration for this work

With thanks to Hetty du Pays at Art at the Heart RUH Bath for believing I could do this. Thank you also to the Macmillan participants who got involved during the initial consultation workshops. Photography credits: William Beck
